Kea features
The Kea NMR Spectrometer has many features that make it an ideal spectrometer for low frequency NMR systems, particularly instruments using permanent magnet NMR probes.
The Kea features include:
- A fully self-contained NMR spectrometer including RF amplifier, duplexer and preamp.
- Low frequency operation ideal for permanent magnet NMR systems.
- Available as a stand alone or OEM product.
- Comes with a programmable macro language which enables experiment and data processing to be combined into a single button click.
- small and lightweight, perfect for portable applications or where laboratory space is at a premium.

The Kea modular spectrometer has the following modules
- USB Control module, connects the spectrometer to your PC via USB interface.
- Digital Transceiver, generates the RF transmit pulses and directly digitises the NMR signal at 62.5 MHz.
- RF receive amplifier, digital controlled gain for the analog receiver.
- Preamp & duplexer, connects the probe with the receive and transmit sides of the spectrometer (optional).
- RF power amplifier (internal), amplifies the RF transmit pulses up to 150W (optional).
- Power module, controls the spectrometer power, requires 24V DC input.
