  • Learn how chemistry students are applying Spinsolve benchtop NMR to everyday problems, in both the class room and research lab.
  • Discover the latest applications of Spinsolve NMR that are fundamentally changing how Industry is using NMR for QA/QC
  • Hear about the new Spinsolve benchtop NMR being launched at ACS.
  • See how benchtop NMR can be used for reaction monitoring and to determine reaction endpoints in real time

In recent years, there has been considerable interest in the use of small, compact (“benchtop”) NMR systems in place of more traditional high-field NMR instrumentation. In this workshop, we will show how the Magritek Spinsolve benchtop NMR system is being use to educate, enlighten and solve real-world problems in academia, industry and beyond.

How Spinsolve is Revolutionising the Teaching of NMR
For many students, hands-on exposure to scientific instrumentation is an important part of the learning process. Unfortunately, the high cost and space requirements of high-field NMR systems put them well beyond the reach of many academic institutions. With the Spinsolve NMR system, those barriers of cost and size effectively disappear, enabling real-world, practical NMR experience to become a reality for the many, not just the few. In this session we will explore how chemistry students are applying Spinsolve to everyday problems, in both the classroom and research lab.

Getting Quantitative with Spinsolve
A powerful application of NMR is the quantitation of hydrogen and other nuclei in solutions and mixtures. This session provides an insight into the implementation of quantitative NMR (qNMR) on Spinsolve for various applications of interest, including solvent mixture analysis and sample purity.

The Best Benchtop Gets Better
Magritek continues pushing the limits in benchtop NMR technology and will share exciting new products that provide solutions to our customers.

The venue for the workshop is

Workshop Room 2, Expo Floor, San Diego Convention Center, Halls B&C.
